Posted 3/10/23 Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the inheritance as your reward. You are serving the Lord Christ. -Col. 3:23-4 Howdy all! I hope you have had a great week! Mine has been pretty darn good, if I do say so. Mom is…

Posted 5/9/22 “Do not toil to acquire wealth; be discerning enough to desist.” -Proverbs 23:4 The last couple of weeks have been a blur. I’ll tell ya what. (sighing sounds would be coming from your speakers, but my internet is slow). After Runnin’ Til I’m Purple all week (around 25-30 miles in, I had Saturday…

Keeping Score
Posted 4-26-19 My dad and I went to see the Springfield Cardinals game last night. The Cardinals, the AA minor league team for the great St. Louis Cardinals franchise, didn’t disappoint in an 8-0 drubbing of the Amarillo Sod Poodles. (BTW…a “sod poodle” seems to be some sort of a nickname for a prairie dog)….
Opening Day
Posted 4-11-19 Today, April 11th, marks the home opener for the Springfield Cardinals minor league baseball team. This year’s lovable birds enter their home debut with a less than lovable 0-7 record, making me wonder what the “magic” number is (already) for them to be mathematically eliminated in the first half of the two-part season….
