DigitalCornbread.com is my sometimes lighthearted attempt to bridge the gap between seniors and my generation (Generation X)… and our kids and grandkids. We will discuss all aspects of aging, Alzheimer’s and related dementia causes, the brain, caregiving, parenting our kids and our parents, and the good ole days. No suitable topic is off-limits. Just sit down at the table and make yourself at home. 🙂 The cornbread will be ready soon…
(Note: I put a lot of bold links in my posts. If they are some sort of affiliate link or something I would make money on (for my non-profit), I will warn you. Generally they are related links and useful for the topic at hand. 🙂 Click on them if you want…they are safe and they will open in a different window. Thanks )
Here is the link to our link to my Longest Day event. Please join or donate or share or something. 🙂 You are super appreciated!! It will take millions of people and billions of dollars to fix this terrible mess. 🙁
I love this even if I don’t know what I’m doing
I am trying to learn all I can about dementia, sundowners other related topics. I care for my husband with dementia.
It is hard stuff, Linda. ALZ.org has some good stuff as does many other sites. I write quite a bit and hopefully you can find some help among my goofy style. Best wishes to you. Your work is important. 🙂
Mark, we haven’t touched base for quite some time, which is on me. I am so pleased to see your digital cornbread is still your passion and now turned to a non- profit! If you have not followed me on FB, I am now in Atlanta GA. Have an engaged life here as I approach my 80th birthday in June. I am so blessed and thankful to serve on the City’s Commission on Aging and included in a new Research/Development Project in effort to establish a format for Person Centered Living in a Community Environment of (about) 200 people. It includes 2 residents & 2 staffers in each of 15 low-income Senior Housing facilities. Best wishes always!
Great to hear from you Lynie! I hope you sneak around and help with IT a little. 🙂 Stay in touch 🙂
