Mom had a terrible morning followed by a nice evening. You never really know what to expect when you punch in the door unlock code and walk in the memory unit. I had already received the report that she has been incorrigible all morning when I got there….how would it go??? Great. 🙂 We goofed off, we played some tunes (ok…she played some tunes), I gave her a hug and a kiss on the head and headed out. Not even the same person as the one fast-pacing back and forth, fighting any and all help and skipping breakfast and lunch.
I could pay a lot of money for an adrenaline high whether riding in a heart-palpitating roller coaster or dodging trees on the anti-bunny ski slope when all I really need is a trip to the ward. I am a nervous Nelly, I get it, but the fear of the unknown scares me infinitely more than a thrill ride where I know roughly what to expect. Today, I exhale again. 🙂
Stinking disease. #EndALZ
