Today is the celebration of the day that is the source of the strength that keeps me going. Christ defeating death that Easter takes away the sting of Alzheimer’s, or anything else that harms us,for the believer. It is terrible for her now, but heaven will be even more sweet with this time as a backdrop, not unlike a black felt board makes a diamond really pop at a jeweler’s. The diamond is still exactly the same in its awesomeness, but set against darkness it glows like the sun.
Happy Easter, friends! Thank you for being there and for saddling up to my little cornbread trough.
