Again Jesus spoke to them, saying, “I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will not walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.”- John 8:12
Busy day at the ole ranch. Typical of Hump Day I suppose. What makes everything more challenging is backups. For one, I have a leader’s computer that died with an incomplete backup. Therefore I have to remove the hard drive and salvage the memories that way. Then I hop on to my website to share my wisdom (ahem) and my website needed a backup too! Sigh… If only we could retain the stuff we need access to forever, things would be much easier. 🙁
BTW…I hate dementia and this article practically wrote itself.
I will be back tomorrow with a more detailed look at our topic, but suffice it to say that we must save our brain’s data…our heritage…such that everyone has access to what you would like them to know. And we must do this before we cannot access it (see my colleague’s computer). Therefore, it is wise to assume that it can happen to us and to prepare like it will. Please look at the warning signs posts and consider talking to your doc so you can back stuff up while it can be accessed. Sorry this sounds cold…but it is true…your loved ones won’t be able to retrieve what is lost…

Update: Mom was great today in the outdoor visit…best in months. 🙂 Such a roller coaster ride.
Dad joke of the day:
Why didn’t the IT pro’s relationship with the buggy computer work out?
They were too “off and on again!”
Sorry this was such a shorty. I owe you one 🙂
