Was a long and unusual visit with mom today. The positives: She played the piano well. She was nice and only somewhat nervous. She was more verbal than she has been lately.
The negatives: she said a few highly inappropriate things to me. Eek.
She still asked to go home a lot.
She left me with “Are we kin somehow?” as I left.
Like her coloring…today was a mixed bag. The piano time was very sweet with the often either non-verbal or extremely loud/challenging ladies singing in the best they could. I loved that part of today. Little Mrs. N. gave’m heck at feeding time and wheeled in and actually sang. 🙂 The two Mary’s were also quite sweet. We had a crew of 8 or 9 singing at one point. In the planet’s musical economy, the quality wasn’t much but I suspect Christ would disagree. #EndALZ
I have often wondered if singing in heaven will be what we think of as “in tune” or if the chorus of mixed sounding sounds at church is perfect to the Father? He values variety in His Creation…just look outside. What if, perhaps, what we think sounds bad is actually good? Hmmm…
